Donate A Mine
Nice story over at The Scotch Blog: Kevin mentions a press release from Bruichladdich Distillery titled Mined over Matter. It's about the Royal Navy's Northern Diving Group delivering a disarmed mine to be used for fundraising efforts.
Interestingly enough he was actually there when the mine was delivered! He had a celebratory dram with a few people and was the first person to use the mine for a donation to the RNLI. The RNLI Port Askaig station is quite important for Islay and manned by volunteers from all over Islay.
