More Islay Mussel Soup
Time for a second helping of the Mussel Soup with an Islay Taste I had blogged about on Monday. Bjorn of Funky Village has sent me a little bit of further information about the restaurant and the soup:
The place to go to is the Akkurat Restaurang & Bar in Stockholm (notice the Bowmore bottles on the homepage!). They have a mussel (musslor in Swedish) menu which lists Moules Islay. I close with the correct translation for the dish:
"En enkel musselsoppa med lök och bacon, smaksatt med härligt rökig single malt." =
"A simple mussel soup with onions and bacon, flavored with delightfully smoky single malt."
