Unidentified Bodies
Back in June I wrote about Dangers of the Sea and the body of a man found dead on an Islay beach. More than a month later (and almost four months after the body was washed up) a quick (non-) update:
The man still hasn't been identified, leading forensic experts to a plea for a DNA database to help solving these cases. The report mentions another case from August 2003, also still unsolved. The problem is not an Islay specific one, but a general issue. The article mentions other cases from Scotland and England, but as it mentions Islay and I had written about it before I decided to add this update.
