Elliott's Islay Ferry Pictures

My original plan for this evening was to complete another Islay 180° panorama and then blog about it together with the one I completed on Sunday. But then unexpected problems kept me busy elsewhere. So instead of showing you my own pictures I'm going to send you to someone else's Islay pictures:

Two weeks ago I recommended the Islay pictures of gpat ile with their focus on Islay Ferries. As he is living in Keills and works in Port Askaig most of them were from the Sound of Islay. For today's picture we move to Islay's other ferry port and terminal, Port Ellen.

Most of elliottbowman66's photos are also of CalMac boats, but with a much bigger focus on Port Ellen. I'm told it's been another stormy day on Islay today, so if he took a picture today (assuming the ferry did come in today) I suspect it will have looked similar to this one of the M.V Isle Of Arran. But there are also a few other pictures, including this nice sunset over the Mull of Oa on a much calmer day.

Now I can't be sure if the two are the same, but I suspect the person behind ‘elliottbowman66’ is the same as Elliott Bowman the Islay Correspondent for the Ships of Calmac website.
