Four Germans on Islay (and video)

Another late evening and blog entry after getting home late and then talking with my sister and father for almost two hours. Even after all that I need my daily fix of Islay blogging. Haven't had an Islay video for a while I think, so let's watch some moving pictures. I'm not entirely sure, but I have a suspicion I know who is behind this great video/ slideshow of a visit to Scotland and in particular a brilliant March day on Islay:

DirectTravellingAroundScotland-Part1

There are fast motion video sections of the drive to Islay via Rest and be Thankful and the single track route past Kilberry. On Islay some of the fastest drives ever, a fast motion drive from Port Charlotte to Port Ellen in about 30 seconds or less. In a nice contrast the calm and beautiful pictures of a sunset at Machir Bay. A nice touch at the start of their day on Islay: The ‘label’ is a picture of the Islay number plate.

You'll get quite a few beaches and distilleries as well, also a few geese, Finlaggan and a Celtic Cross. Not to forget a few pictures of the four (if I counted right) Germans doing the travelling, driving, filming and generally enjoying themselves.

I hope you'll enjoy the video as much as I did. Thanks for sharing, guys! In just over a week I'll be driving most of that route myself again, can't wait...
