Becky's Islay Calendar 2009
It's a bit early to think of Christmas, be it on Islay or somewhere else (as of writing this there are 180 days left until Christmas if my countdowns are correct). But then again today is a good day as any to link to Becky Williamson's latest update from Islay. Almost a year ago I mentioned her Walking around Islay's Coastline project (and kind of tracked her progress in various Islay Blogging Roundups). Earlier this week I noticed her blog entry about a follow up project from the walk:
On Tuesday Becky blogged about her Islay Calendar 2009 having finished the coastal walk. She has produced a calendar with 36 pictures of Islay's beautiful coastline. You can see a preview on her Becky Drew Pictures website. There are various options to buy it:
You can order it online on Becky's website. You can buy it at the weekly Made on Islay Arts & Craft Markets in Port Ellen. You can also buy it at the Islay Wildlife Centre in Port Charlotte. The calendar is £8 (+ £2 P&P), £2 go to the Marine Conversation Society.
I'm planning to pick one up when I'm on Islay in July.
