Bowmore Islay Distillery Boiler Movie

Can you really make a film about a distillery boiler? Yes, you can. At least if it involves an Islay distillery and if the event took place a long time ago. Regular readers might remember Ian Maclean's videos of Islay in 1948 (Part 2, 3 and 4), now it's time for Bowmore Distillers to take us back to 1964:

This is part 1 of a series, providing some background and charting the departure of the boiler from Renfrew to Islay, passing Kelvin Hall on the way through Glasgow. Don't expect to see anything of Bowmore distillery just yet, I assume that will come in part 2 or even part 3. I'll link to them as soon as they come out and I find them.
