Bowmore Islay Distillery Boiler Movie - Part 2
Some of you might remember the Bowmore Islay Distillery Boiler Movie I posted on Boxing Day. Today I can post the second part of the journey from Renfrew to Islay. The boiler hasn't arrived on Islay, it is still far from it, in Rhu to be precise:

The route is really interesting, considering the location of Rhu. Not a route you would intuitively choose. When you watch the movie the reason for the route will become clear (also remember this is 1964, before roll-on roll-off ferries).
Many thanks again to Bowmore Distillers for sharing this, I think this is great story telling. Now I'm looking forward to part 3 (and I guess further parts), which I'll also post as soon as I become aware of them.
