Mountain Boarding on Islay
Some time last year there was crate surfing at Saligo Bay on Islay. People go water skiing on Loch Indaal. Now there's another sport on Islay: Mountain boarding. But not as you might know it, instead with an Islay twist:
The health & safety brigade will probably be up in arms, but being pulled by a quad bike is arguably just like kite landboarding (apart from the jumps). With Islay largely lacking in suitable hills for landboarding having an engine to pull you sounds like a clever idea, as you can even go uphill. Certainly looks like they had a lot of fun!
