Friday Islay Picture #96 - Laphroaig Distillery
Yay, it's weekend. After a very busy week time to relax and recharge the batteries. But before I can go into the weekend it's time for this week's Friday Islay picture. If you visit my Islay Pictures photoblog and/or followed my islayblog Twitter stream you will have noticed that I'm currently running a themed week on the photoblog. An ‘Islay Distillery Picture Week’ to be precise. So far I've had (in that order): Bunnahabhain, Caol Ila, Kilchoman, Bruichladdich and today Bowmore. Based on that I think quite a few of you will be able to guess which Islay distillery is next. Yes, this one:
Obviously Laphroaig distillery. The journey started in the north, then moved to the west before continuing in the centre. Now we move to the south and the first distillery on the way east from Port Ellen is Laphroaig. The larger version of the picture above will be posted on the photoblog tomorrow as usual.
