Friday Islay Picture #112 - Barnacle Geese in Flight
Friday evening, enjoying a wee dram of Islay single malt, eating some smoked salmon, listening to The Wannadies 2000 album Yeah. Nice and relaxing. Oh, and I've got a Friday Islay picture for you as well. They are not due back for another few months, but here's a picture of two of the 40,000 Barnacle Geese wintering on Islay:
This was taken in April, around the time the last ones are getting ready to leave and many have left for Greenland already. As usual I will post the larger version (larger version as in more than twice as big) on the Islay Pictures photoblog on Saturday morning.
With that I wish you a great weekend, I've just found that I've got some strawberries, I think they will go very well with the whisky. Also have to change CDs to Bagsy Me.
