Port Ellen Fish Quay Repairs Latest
Time for another update on the Port Ellen fish quay repairs I've received from Islay. Since the work started at the end of October some good progress has been made. Yesterday a friend on Islay sent me a few further pictures showing the status as of Friday:

That certainly looks much better and sturdier than the old wall. I assume the ‘provision of a new set of boat steps’ is going to be at the end, close to the location of the old steps which have been filled in. Not sure what the ‘pipes’ you can see in the water are for?
