Islay Diving Bonus Video

Islay on Video written in stencil

When I wrote about the Islay Diving Videos Part 3 & 4 I mentioned a ‘bonus video’ I thought about posting over the next few days. While not necessary filmed in Islay waters (I think it might have been when they continued their journey around Kintyre) it still feels like a nice end to the series. Here is the video of a Wrasse feeding:

I hope you enjoyed the videos, not only from the Islay perspective but also in general. It's a world most of us never get to see ourselves, many thanks to Keith for making them available for us to see.

To close a short note about the ‘Ramsay Dyce’, the ship they were diving from: Turns out the Ramsay Dyce is a former RNLI lifeboat, which served in around Aberdeen in the 1950s and 60s. It seems in the late 80s it was converted to a private ship, which last changed owner in January 2008.
