Friday Islay Picture #164 - Saligo Bay Mini Rainbow
Yay, Friday evening. Time for the Friday Islay picture, followed hopefully by a great and relaxing weekend. The picture I've picked for this evening is a combination of wild strong forces and calming pretty colours, a partial rainbow in the rain and spray over a stormy Saligo Bay:
I took this picture in October 2008, during a mostly quite stormy week on Islay. The waves in Saligo Bay were quite impressive, as was the spray being blown in and the rain showers racing past. I'm not sure if this mini rainbow was from a rain shower or the spray, either way I think it's a nice touch of colour.
