Portrait of Islay's Jim McEwan and Bruichladdich

Islay Whisky News & Links in stencil

Back in September I posted a video of Jim McEwan talking about the Bruichladdich Octomore, last week Ron posted a similar video from the same series, This Islay Whisky is For the Girls. Those two were slightly older videos courtesy of SingleMaltTv, today we can watch a new video with one of Islay's most famous distillers:

This video seems to have been filmed very recently in September 2010, I assume to a large extent during a presentation Jim gave in Toronto for a company called Vintages (I guess the Islay footage is mostly stock footage they purchased somewhere). They are a fine wine and premium spirits retailer and for the benefit of any Canadian readers I hopefully have currently have some Bruichladdich special offers (at least they claim they are special offers, I don't know anything about whisky prices in Canada).

I hope you've enjoyed the video, I think it's time for a wee dram of Bruichladdich Islay single malt now…
