Gate at Kildalton, Islay

Islay on Video written in stencil

And now for something completely different and unexpected. Some people will think what a waste of bits and bytes, but I think it's one of the things I like about the internet: You can find some of the weird and wonderful things which wouldn't be published anywhere else. Just like this video from Kildalton on Islay, not your typical tourist video:

YouTube: Sound of the gate at Kildalton churchyard

Some might think what is special about the sound of a gate? Well, nothing really. Yet at the same time I think it is about something we often forget or overlook. The beauty of small and unexpected things. Just enjoying the moment and the small little things. Being fascinated. Just as he writes in the description:

There's nothing special about the video. But I was fascinated with the sound of the old iron gate at the churchyard, and made a recording of it as a video.

Something I think worth sharing, also because it shows yet another side of Islay. Does this make any sense?
