Friday Islay Picture #182 - Stones at Claggain Bay

Friday Islay Picture in stencil

Finally weekend after a rather long and exhausting week. Could be a rather noisy night in Aldermaston Wharf from where I'm writing this, as it is quite windy for here. Nowhere near as windy as on Islay, but still up to 50 mph gusts. The Islay picture I've picked for this evening is rather the opposite, quite calm and not much is moving:

Picture of stones on a rocky beach, the beach bending away in the distance

That's of course the beach in Claggain Bay on the south coast of Islay. Not too barefoot and play friendly, but I think still a very nice beach. Just different to the usual sandy beaches with all the rocks and stones.

As usual I will post a larger version (larger as in more than twice as big) on the Islay Pictures photoblog on Saturday morning. Until then, good night (wind noise permitting)!
