New Islay Panorama, An Cladach Bothy

Islay Pictures in stencil

That was another very productive Saturday: It started with a Frosty morning in Aldermaston Wharf, continued with some beautiful Spring sunshine in West Berkshire, the afternoon brought Hungry Birds in Aldermaston Wharf and in the evening I was out to take pictures of the Supermoon (and a few stars) in West Berkshire. Later in the evening it was back to some Islay work. On Wednesday I promised I would try to create a QTVR version of a picture of An Cladach bothy if possible. The answer is, yes, it was possible:

Panoramic view of a shoreline with a bothy, An Cladach on Islay

As usual that tiny picture above is just a teaser, for the real thing go to the An Cladach Bothy Panorama, Isle of Islay. 180° Quicktime VR Panorama. That's where you get the same view but in very big. The pictures for the panorama are from a visit in April 2009 during the Islay walking week, my most recent visit to the bothy. I'm now planning to return in June this year and stay for a night.

Speaking of night, I think I should go to bed now, it's quite late. Good night!
