Ian Fulton's Islay March 2011 Pictures

Islay Pictures in stencil

Time for a few more Islay pictures again, mainly of birds and landscape views. Ian Fulton and Brenda visited Islay last month, where they stayed at the Bowmore Distillery Cottages. Ian's main reason for the visit were the wintering Geese and other birds, as we can see from his pictures:

You can find Ian's Islay pictures in his Islay March 2011 gallery on PBase, make sure you also go into the Greenland White-fronted Goose and Islay - Views sets. I quite like this Chough, Ardnave, Islay in flight and the light in this Greylag Goose, Bruichladdich-Loch Indaal, Islay picture. This small group of Greenland White-fronted Goose, Gruinart, Islay looks nice as well. Away from the birds there's a nice Sunset at Bowmore harbour with the Paps of Jura in the distance and a large telephoto lens picture of The town of Bowmore and the Distillery from Bruichladdich across Loch Indaal.

Of course there's much more than these few examples, I hope you'll enjoy discovering them.
