Video of Otter in Machir Bay, Islay
Some people say you should always have a camera with you, as picture opportunities might come up any time. Even better if the camera is also capable of video, for the opportunity which presented itself to me on Islay last week. I hadn't heard much of Otters on the west coast of Islay, let alone seen one, yet there was one in Machir Bay last week:

Apologies for the occasionally shaky camera, I had to do this handheld, I'm not mad enough to always carry a tripod with me. Not to forget that I was quite excited getting so close to an Otter on one of my favourite beaches on Islay!
