Kilchoman Islay Distillery Video
There we are, the long bank holiday weekend is over. For various reasons, among them spending afternoons on my fake balcony and being Out and About at the Kennet and Avon Canal, I haven't made as much progress as I had hoped on updating my printable Islay guide and preparing the Laphroaig Windows Into the Past page. So instead I'm going to show you someone else's work, which he sneaked online while I was on holiday on Islay:

As it says below the video this is the work of Mark Unsworth of Islay Studios, his portrait of Kilchoman distillery, for which he sometimes does work (not as distiller, as photographer of course). It's a rather slow video, I think a style fitting to the topic at hand. It takes time to distill and in particular mature a whisky, so why not reflect this in the video?
PS: on a related note, also while I was on holiday I received a mail about the Kilchoman 5yo futures I bought (surprise!) five years ago. They will be bottled later this year in November. More about that some other time.
