Friday Islay Picture #221 - Sunny Splash in Saligo Bay
So there we are, the Christmas weekend has arrived. I'll be opening my Laphroaig Christmas Hamper tomorrow evening (one of the few German habits I've kept, where the presents are opened on Heiligabend). As I'm staying in Aldermaston Wharf for Christmas Islay blogging should continue as normal. I hope I can give an early Christmas present to at least some of my readers with this week's Friday Islay picture, a wave splashing in the October afternoon soon in Saligo Bay:
This was shot during an afternoon in Saligo Bay in October this year. I think during this shot I managed to stay dry, but at least during one other shot the camera and me got fairly wet. The camera survived luckily. The spray in the air comes out much better in bigger, so as usual look forward to the larger version on the Islay Pictures photoblog on Saturday morning.
