New Islay Panorama, Northern Shore near Bholsa

Took slightly longer than I had hoped (it's rapidly approaching my bedtime), but I managed to complete another Islay panorama this evening: Again it is from one of the walks during the WalkIslay 2012 walking week. After the southern skerries last week I'm taking you to the other end of the island this time, to the far north near Bholsa:

I hope the preview above gets you interested, for the real thing go to the panorama of a view over the rocky shore at Bholsa on the north coast of Islay, seen from right at the shore near Port a' Chotain. Same as other panorama it's part of my More 180° Quicktime VR Islay panoramas collection.

This is just one of the many views from the walk where Paul Graham took us to the big cave at Bholsa and to the long abandoned croft/farm steading at Bolsa. The panorama is from just west of the big cave, next to this natural arch. I hope the panorama and the pictures give you an idea of the area, one of the most remote on Islay.
