Colonsay, Island On The Edge?
If you've got just under half an hour time tonight (or any other time) I'm going to take you over to Islay's neighbour Colonsay for an interesting documentary I found today. It gives some very interesting insights into the challenges and opportunities for a small island community:

I found this very interesting to watch, some interesting thoughts and developments. For more about Colonsay I also suggest the recently relaunched Isle of Colonsay website, one of the comparably recently launched businesses is the Colonsay Brewery I've mentioned a few times before on this blog. I'm not sure how long they've existed now, but a the House of Lochar Colonsay publishers/bookshop has been around for a long time. Well before I first heard of Colonsay I think.
This also brings me nicely to an upcoming event I should mention, the Colonsay Book Festival. I'm going to write about that in more detail in a separate post, but I thought I'll wet your appetite for more…
