Friday Islay Picture #290 - June waves at Saligo

Well then, here's the weekend. Had a nice burger at a local pub with the crew from work earlier. Now enjoying a wee dram or two or the lovely Laphroaig 10yo Cask Strength while picking a Friday Islay picture for you to enjoy. I've decided to go with one of Saligo Bay in June this year, a surprisingly breezy day with fairly big waves, considering the time of year:

This is from June this year (2013), the day was mostly grey and cloudy, we had spent it partially in the cottage and partially at Laphroaig for a nice tour with James Deane. On the drive back to Kilchoman on a hunch we took a detour via Saligo. While we were there the sun broke through for a short time, providing us with some great views. We were quite pleased that we had made the detour.
