Video walk to Ardbeg's Loch Uigeadail, Islay
Some of you might remember the By helicopter to an Ardbeg distillery tour on Islay video I wrote about two weeks ago. During the same visit Horst also joined a group which walked up to Loch Uigeadail for a dinner and a night in tents. Here is his video from the walk, again it is in German but you should still be able to enjoy it even if you don't understand German:

Before you try to find a place to book a night in the tents at the loch, this is not something on offer regularly. It was a PR event organised by Ardbeg's parent company Glenmorangie. It is however possible to walk to the loch at any time, all you need is good walking boots and a map and compass. If you prefer a guided walk at least part of the way, Ardbeg offers the 'BOG OFF' WALK TO THE WATER SOURCE to Airigh nam Beist (see the Ardbeg tours page, at the bottom).
