Watching Otters on a beautiful Islay morning
Otters can be seen in many places on Islay. The Sound of Islay is a good place, as various places around Loch Indaal. They've been seen in Saligo Bay and I've watched one in Machir Bay myself. Another good place is the south coast of Islay, where the Dower House can be found. Here you don't even have to leave the house to watch Otters in the morning:

Certainly worth getting up early for sightings like that! And on that note I'm off to bed, hoping for an early start tomorrow…
