Islay at the British Birdfair 2015
If memory serves me right the first visit was in 2011, the first time Islay had a stand at the British Birdwatching Fair (Birdfair) to be precise. This year from 21-23/Aug/2015 the Islay stand will be in marquee 7, stand number 14, where they will be open to talk about the many birds on Islay like the famous Chough:
While talking about the Islay birds you will also be able to sample some of the famous Islay whisky (and I think also some Botanist Gin from Bruichladdich distillery) as well as some shortbread. But that's not all: Same as in previous years there will be a prize draw to win a week's holiday on Islay, staying at Islay Cottages at Kilchoman with the ferry tickets provided by Calmac. Well worth taking part.
If you go to the birdfair say hi to the Islay crew and good luck with the prize draw!
