Looking forward to the Islay Sessions 2015 (updated)
Tomorrow in three weeks there will be a lot of music on Islay again (there's always music on Islay, but there will be even more), as the 2015 edition of the Islay Sessions gets under way. After 2012 (pub sessions and Grand Concert) and 2014 (lunchtime sessions) this will be my third visit for the Islay Sessions. Very much looking forward to it, here's the programme:

I will be going with slightly mixed feelings, as this will be the first Islay Sessions without the late Fraser Shaw. At the same time they will be celebrating Fraser's life and music and raise funds for the Fraser Shaw Trust, which I think is the best way to remember him.
Looking forward to see several of the musicians from previous sessions again as well as some new ones (new for me) I haven't heard before. I'm sure it will be a great weekend, see you there?
