Small Islands Meet On Islay
Today and tomorrow will be busy days on Islay, as 200 delegates from islands around Europe are descending on Islay for a two day conference. They will discuss what the future holds for small islands and related topics.
The conference is through the European Small Islands Network, aimed at promoting co-operation between the small European Islands. Some further information at the Scottish Islands Network page for the conference as well (They also have some interesting data about population numbers for Scotland's islands).
