Two Recent Visits To Islay
No, unfortunately they weren't my visits, I won't be back on Islay until April 2007. My next trip will be a visit to my parents and sister in Germany for Christmas. But two other bloggers visited Islay recently and took some very nice pictures of Islay in the autumn and early winter:
Most recent Pat the Chooks went to Islay on the shortest day. Some very nice light on the shortest day of the year allowed for some beautiful pictures. Click on the pictures to see a larger version.
A few weeks ago a blogger I knew of from my little Blogging Abroad (Expat Bloggers) project visited Islay: Rory Ewins is from Australia but lives in Scotland now. He visited Islay earlier in December but had to deal with much worse weather. Nevertheless he took some amazing pictures, Here are the best, Rory writes.
