Kilchiaran Bay, Islay, Under Way

After last nights Idlewild concert I didn't get back to Swindon until after midnight. Meaning I didn't get up until fairly late (for me) today, which in turn meant apart from reading my Islay news subscriptions with a nice cup of tea I didn't make much progress this morning. Only later this afternoon I started to work on the Scotland Summer 2006 travelogue again and added the first new Islay content: An afternoon at Kilchiaran Bay, Islay is now finally under way.

So far there are three pictures online, I've just started looking at some of the pictures I took to create panoramas. Above is the first attempt of one of the views over Kilchiaran Bay, I also have others looking over the disused slate quarry.

Over the next few days I'll play around with them a bit more before deciding if and which of them can go online, either as a plain picture or as a Quicktime VR panorama.

But for now I'm calling it a day, time to get to bed to be ready tomorrow for a busy week ahead. Good night.
