Islay and Jura Public Transport Guide
Working on making some progress with the Giùr-bheinn Walk travelogue, so just a short entry today again. Something potentially of interest for visitors to Islay without their own car and dependent on public transport. There are a number of area transport guides available on the Argyll and Bute Council website to download:
There are 8 guides available on the Area Transport Guides page, giving a good overview of public transport. The guides include a map with routes, timetables and contact information. Of interest for this blog is the Islay and Jura Area Transport Guide (PDF file), but some people might also be interested in the guides for Kintyre or Mid Argyll.
I hope they are helpful, you might want to let the council know if you find errors or have suggestions for improvements.
