Friday Islay Picture (18)

Now that's dedication, isn't it? Despite the chaos as heavy rain brings floods here in southern England I'm posting this weeks Friday Islay Picture. Well, I'm exaggerating a bit. While it took me more than 2 hours to get home where it normally only takes 45 minutes it was a mere annoying inconvenience. Others had their homes and/or cars flooded and ruined. While the rain is moving north I think it is going to mostly spare Islay. Still a picture of water on Islay, although it's in a place where it should be:

Picture of a waterfall under a grey sky

The picture shows the waterfall at Abhainn Ghlas near Kintra. This was on a quite grey day in 2003 during a walk to the top of Cnoc Mór Ghrasdail, near Kintra.

The weather forecast for the weekend looks quite mixed, although nowhere near as bad as today. Either way, I'm planning to mostly stay at home and make some good progress and ideally complete my Armin's Little Islay Guide. As they say, watch this space...

Have a great weekend, whatever the weather!
