Islay Winter Storms and Whisky Chefs

When I first mentioned back in 2006 I said I personally couldn't get too excited about it as Islay would only play a limited role in their programme. That view hasn't really changed as my focus continues to be on Islay and less on whisky as such. Nevertheless I freely admit that I'm impressed by this clip of the whisky chef in a winter storm on Islay:


Martine Nouet from France braving a winter storm on the pier in Port Charlotte, raving about Islay, the weather and Islay single malts while the waves are crashing over the pier behind her. Great stuff!

Excellent advertising for visiting Islay in the winter, quite different to a calm summer day...
