Friday Islay Picture #109 - Kite at Saligo Bay
While the recent heatwave is slowly subsiding throughout the UK the summer is far from over. I'm sure many more fine days will come, on Islay and elsewhere in the UK. To remind us of one of the best things to do on such a day I've picked today's Friday Islay picture. Going to the beach and flying a kite:
This is at the beach in Saligo Bay, taken in June 2009. There were two families (not sure if they were travelling together), one of them was flying a quite colourful kite. Very nice to watch against the blue sky with a few white clouds.
