Ferry Leaving From Islay Video
Today my sister said good bye to Wales as I picked her up after a week of horse trekking at the Cwmfforest Riding Centre. Weather wasn't too great today, so we drove back to Aldermaston Wharf after a short detour through the Brecon Beacons. Quite likely this will be her last visit for two years, as she's hoping to come to Islay with me next summer. But that's for another time, today is a day of departures. It's always sad to leave Islay, but a nice ferry crossing like this one makes it slightly easier:

That's all for this evening. My sister and I now have better things to do than blogging. Like eating fresh strawberries and raspberries while enjoying a wee dram of Bruichladdich Octomore. Good night.
