Friday Islay Picture #111 - Black Eyed Lamb
Yay, the weekend is here. My father is now safely back in Germany after his long weekend visiting me, tomorrow I'm going to drive over to Wales to pick up my sister after her week of horse trekking. In other words, I'm not sure how much, if any, Islay blogging I'll have time for this weekend. Now for this week's Friday Islay picture, thought I give you something cute and cuddly, the black eyed lamb:
I spotted this wee fella near Sanaigmore Bay in June this year. Being a townie with limited knowledge of farming I'm wondering if this is a specific breed or just a fluke of nature? Anyone can tell me?
With that I'm signing off for tonight, better get some sleep for the 400 miles of driving tomorrow. As usual I'll post the larger version (larger as in more than twice as big) of the picture on the Islay Pictures photoblog on Saturday morning. Good night for now!
