Kilchoman Distillery on Islay on the BBC

Hopefully this isn't going to be ‘UK only’ again like the Islay Tidal Project and IET on BBC Newsnight Scotland recently, but all of you can view another appearance of Islay on BBC Scotland television. This time the topic is Islay's youngest distillery, Kilchoman. You can (hopefully) watch it on this page:
Malt shortage fears prompt growth
Fears of a future shortage of malt whisky is creating a swathe of new micro-distilleries in Scotland, including Kilchoman in Islay.
The video is actually almost exclusively about Kilchoman, very good coverage for the distillery. Just in case you can't see it, there is more about Kilchoman available elsewhere:
- Ron has pictures from the Kilchoman whisky first edition release event.
- On my New & Reopened Islay Distilleries you'll find a (slightly older) section about Kilchoman distillery with a few pictures from the construction.
- In my Islay Distillery Panoramas I've got a panorama the yard of Kilchoman Distillery as well as a panoramic view into the still house at Kilchoman distillery (both require Quicktime to view, most computers should have that though).
Hopefully you've been able to enjoy all of it, if not you should have been able to see at least something. Fingers crossed...
