Scott Lamont's Islay Pictures

I'm not sure if Scott Lamont is a professional photographer or ‘just’ an amateur. What I do know is that he has just over 5,000 (as of writing this) pictures on Flickr under his scottyboylamont's account. Many of them are wildlife pictures, in particular Scotland but also from around the world. For this blog I'm of course mainly interested in his pictures from Islay (and Jura):

As far as I can see Scott has been to Islay at least three times: Arran, Islay and Jura June 2007, Islay and Jura August 2008 and most recently has been Islay February 2010. As I mentioned, many of his pictures are of wildlife, a few pictures I found particularly interesting:

A Common Buzzard hovering, a Hare and Barnacle Geese and this Chough from 2010. The two Brown Hares, one of which seems to be looking rather bored. The Meadow Pipit. Both from 2008. From 2007 this lovely Islay Sunset from Kintra, Lossit Bay and finally the photographer and his wife at Corryvreckan. Of course these are only a few I picked out, you might want to check out the other pictures as well.

Bonus link: As I also fairly regularly mention Colonsay I think some of you will also be interested in Coll, Tiree and Colonsay July 2008. Among others it includes this nice shot of a Golden Eagle.
