Friday Islay Picture #146 - Hillside near McArthur's Head
Spring seems to have finally arrived and tomorrow in two weeks the first walk of the WalkIslay Islay walking week will be under way. That in mind I've picked a picture from a walking week a few years ago for this week's Friday Islay picture. Taken on the way back from McArthur's Head on the way to Proaig:
I'm not sure where exactly I took this picture, I guesstimate around half way between McArthur's Head and Carraig an Ràtha, below Beinn na Caillich Beag. The wide bay with Proaig is just coming into view, in the distance the hills near Ardtalla.
This picture works much better in big, so as usual I will post it on the Islay Pictures photoblog on Saturday morning. Until then enjoy your wee dram of Islay single malt or whatever else you drink on a Friday evening, have a great weekend!
