Friday Islay Picture #155 - Border Collie on Beach
That's a busy week over with a busy weekend ahead. But not before I've posted the traditional Friday Islay picture. The picture I posted on the Islay Pictures photoblog this morning, Haar (sea fog) rolling into Machir Bay, Isle of Islay, turned out to be quite popular and I had a lot of reactions. One person who commented was asheepdogdiary on Twitter (see also A Sheepdog Diary), suggesting it would look even better with five border collies. I can't offer five, but I can offer one:
I took this picture (and many of more of the same dog) the day before I took the picture of the haar moving into Machir Bay. I'm not 100% sure, but I think I also saw the same dog again that morning. Of course not all of the pictures are usable, let alone good, but I think you might see this dog either here or on the photoblog again some time.
