Corryvreckan Challenge Video
Earlier today Mark Unsworth of Islay Studios posted a beautiful picture On the edge of the Corryvreckan on his photoblog. With that in mind I thought it would be fitting to post a video of a group of swimmers from Mid-Argyll swimming across the Gulf of Corryvreckan between Jura and Scarba:

Of course this isn't the first time people swam the Gulf of Corryvreckan, among many others the Islay Masters swimming club conquered it a few years ago (after honing their skills in Loch Indaal and crossing the Sound of Islay). Unfortunately I'm not aware of any (online) video from that crossing, I hope you'll enjoy this video as well.
