Eric Faulkner playing on Islay
If you're still undecided which Islay single malt to drink tonight while listening to some nice music I suggest a wee dram Bruichladdich might be appropriate this evening. Simple reason is that the artist I'm going to send you a few videos to watch was playing at said village when he visited Islay earlier this year and these videos were recorded.
The artist in question is Eric Faulkner (yes, that Eric Faulkner, formerly of the Bay City Rollers) who is now touring solo. Some of his performances can be found on his official YouTube channel, TheEricFaulkner. This is where I found a few videos of him in action at Bruichladdich Hall during the Islay Festival this year. I can't embed them here, but here are the links to them:
- YouTube: Home Is Where The Heart Is
- YouTube: Name a Star After You
- The last one isn't a song, but I thought I should include it as well: YouTube: Eric and the Knickers
I hope you've enjoyed that, as well as your wee dram of Islay single malt whisky, whichever you decided to go with in the end.
