Friday Islay Picture #207 - Port Charlotte Lighthouse
Sorry I'm rather late again this evening, a rather long 4 day week with still about 14 hours overtime left me rather exhausted. After some food I'm getting a bit of energy back now, so I thought I better get my act together and post the Friday Islay picture some of you might have been waiting for. It's of probably my favourite lighthouse on Islay. One of the smallest, yet very photogenic:
That's of course Port Charlotte lighthouse, seen from the pier on a beautiful summer evening over Loch Indaal. There's a boat anchored on the loch and if you look very closely you might even be able to make out a kite (towards the left of the house).
As usual I'll post a larger version on the Islay Pictures photoblog on Saturday morning, if you can't make out the kite on this smaller version you can hopefully do it on the larger one. Have a great weekend!
