Off to Islay Shortly
Well then, it's that time of year again, time for my first Islay visit of the year. Of course to the WalkIslay Islay walking week, having completed at least one walk on each of them since the start in 2003. Yes, that makes it the 10th walking week this year. Jubilee of the year?
Taking a short break from packing in Aldermaston Wharf to write this, I'll be off to Carlisle later this afternoon. Staying in Carlisle as usual over night, then on to Islay on Friday. Walking starts on Saturday, looking forward to the walks and meeting many old and new friends!
As usual it will probably be quiet here as well as on the Islay Pictures photoblog. However, I will try (network permitting) to post the occasional update on Twitter @islayblog as well as the Isle of Islay Posterous account. Normal service will resume after my return in just over a week.
