Friday Islay Picture #242 - Stars in Gloaming
Finally, Friday evening has arrived. For many in the UK the start of a very long bank holiday weekend. As to be expected the weather forecast is, well, not very good. At least for West Berkshire, where I will spend the weekend. A good excuse to stay at home and hopefully find some time to make progress with my Islay videos, panoramas and pictures. Talking of pictures, here's this week's Friday Islay picture:
This was at Machir Bay in April 2012, from where the path and the burn come through the dunes. A quite clear evening with some fantastic light in the gloaming made even better by the stars appearing in the sky.
As usual I will post a larger version on the Islay Pictures photoblog on Saturday morning. But for now I wish you a great (long, if you're in the UK) weekend!
