Slate Sculpture on Colonsay (Video)
And now for something a bit different. To start with we're going over to Islay's neighbour Colonsay. Then we visit a strange slate sculpture. In the form of a timelapse video recording its construction:
It took Nigel and James Pickering around six hours to (re)build the sculpture, that's quite some dedication I think. But I think it was worth it, I think it looks beautiful. Hopefully it will attract intrigue and curiosity for a long time, of course those who spot it after having seen the video will know the story, but there will still be many people who will see it for the first time…
