Islay Cufflinks from Shirley K Lloyd

Islay Links in stencil

If you can't go to the office or another more formal place in an Islay T-Shirt but still would like show your interest in Islay I might have a solution for you. It's more subtle and possibly more elegant way to show where your heart is:

Picture of two silver cufflinks in the shape of the Isle of Islay

I think I first came across them on Twitter, probably through a tweet by Shirley K Lloyd who creates hand made silver and gold jewellery at Scottish Island Jewellery. While Shirley doesn't live on Islay she doesn't live too far away on the another island, the Isle of Bute. The cufflinks are the first thing I saw, but you can also get other items in her Scottish Islands range. These include earrings, bangles and pins. The range of course includes many other Scottish islands in addition to Islay including the neighbours of Jura, Gigha and Colonsay.

Now I don't use cufflinks, but if I was I certainly would be tempted. Are you?
