Friday Islay Picture #303 - Traditional music at the Port Charlotte Hotel
Phew, that's another long and stressful week finally over. By now the 2013 edition of the Islay Sessions will be well under way. Unfortunately I'm not there, as it was great last year. Anyway, I had thought I post a picture from last year's sessions as this week's Friday Islay picture. Turns out I didn't take any pictures (I thought I had), but only video. So instead a picture from another session in the Port Charlotte Hotel a few years ago:
Most or may be even all of them will probably play somewhere during the sessions at some point this weekend I should think. Those on Islay able to attend the sessions, have a great time! For those who like me have to miss out, I've got two videos from last year on YouTube, Islay Sessions 2012 at the Port Charlotte Hotel and Islay Sessions 2012 - Grand Concert at Bruichladdich Hall. Only a poor substitute for being there, but better than nothing. I hope someone will post videos and pictures from this year's sessions…
